Businesses and other organizations are beginning to reopen all around the world. This is a result of loosening the lockdown procedures in the US and other countries. Though this is done with a retrospect to the decrease in new COVID-19 cases. But many health officials believe the pandemic will return as more people start gathering in the open. Coronavirus: the second wave of the pandemic
The COVID-19 infection rates might be failing now according to the graphical analysis. But researchers believe it will not be long before a second wave of the deadly pandemic attacks. This revival process of any virus to infect a population is known as the second-wave infection.
According to many researchers out there, the hot weather of the summer season may be able to reduce the effect of Coronavirus for a while. This is mainly because SARS viruses have a reduced effectivity in the summer season. But if a vaccine is not ready by the time winter comes, we’ll face a big second wave of the pandemic.
WHO researchers believe the winter season will see an uprise in the number of COVID-19 cases just like Wuhan did in November 2019. Also, there is a fear of a new strain of coronavirus appearing out of nowhere. Dr. Anthony Fauci says he is confident that a second wave of the coronavirus will flare-up in the fall. He also warned that people should not be “cavalier” about the virus’s impact on children.
