On March 27, 2020, Memorial Healthcare, a health institute in Shiawassee County, Michigan took an important decision. They are offering in-house COVID-19 testing procedures. It delivers accelerated results to patients.
If you are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus, then you should get yourself tested. Hospitals and health authorities are manufacturing test kits rapidly. Patients will be able to get test results within 48 hours of testing. Brian Long, FACHE, CEO of Memorial Healthcare, says, “anyone experiencing more severe symptoms, such as extreme shortness of breath, call 9-1-1 or proceed directly to our Emergency Department.”
Memorial Healthcare is also one of the first responders to help keep health workers safe. The hospital made clinically approved face shields to keep nurses and doctors safe from COVID-19 patients. But, these face shields do not cause a problem while treating individuals. In fact, they are quite clear and should be worn by health workers at all times.
