John Krasinski, an American actor has recently launched a show, “Some Good News” on his YouTube channel. On April 21, 2020, something out of the ordinary happened. NASA launched a video named “Earth is Beautiful” in order to celebrate Earth Day beforehand. 3 Astronauts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recorded a video from the ISS. In the video, they are saying “Earth still looks beautiful!

Astronaut Jessica Mir uploaded this video which runs for almost 2-minute in duration. She used the International Space Station to launch the video. John talks about this extraordinary event in his show “Some Good News“. In the video, the astronauts talk about celebrating continuous space travel for 20 years in 2020.

NASA celebrates Earth Day

Out of joy, the NASA astronauts showed us a backflip in zero gravity conditions. However, they also showed a view of our planet from the space station. Even though Jessica shared it first, NASA reshared it from its official twitter account which became a popular hit in minutes.

Today our planet completes 50 years of Earth Day. Around 30 million Americans went out on streets, college campuses, and cities to protest the ongoing pollution in our planet, on 22 April 1970. This started the tradition of Earth Day. But over the years pollution levels did not decrease until now. The Coronavirus lockdown has put us back on track. Hopefully, everything will be alright in a few month’s time.
